Gheta & shoji is the result of an order from a lover of Asian art and culture, and of my meeting with an excellent craftsman: Christian Holt. The set consists of two consoles and two sideboards. These pieces of furniture are inspired by Japanese objects and traditions: their clean lines echo the geta, a traditional shoe, while the sliding washi rice paper doors are reminiscent of the shoji, light and translucent partitions ubiquitous in ancient Japan.
